Reflections on a Wonderful Final Week of Term

What a fantastic final week of the term we’ve had! We completed our newspaper writing, and I must say, all the pupils produced some truly remarkable pieces. It’s heartening to see our maths skills improving each week as we challenge ourselves with reasoning and problem-solving tasks, boosting our confidence in the subject.

In PHSE, we explored the impact of social media, discussing how the latest trends and challenges can create peer pressure. We shared strategies on how to stand up to this pressure, fostering a supportive environment for one another. Our science lessons took us on an exciting journey into the workings of the heart and its vital role in pumping blood around our bodies.

Wednesday was particularly special as we celebrated our Christmas jumper and dinner day. It was lovely to spend lunch together, joining in the festive spirit. Throughout the week, we’ve engaged in numerous Christmas activities, enjoying some delightful social time as a class.
