Children's Adventure Farm Trust
Pupils from Year 7 had an amazing time at the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust!
We really enjoyed seeing all the different farm animals and hand feeding some of the ducks, goats and alpacas.
Once the animals had been petted and fed we had a quick snack before burning off our energy in the sports hall where there was a HUGE inflatable slide!
As we were tiring ourselves off we spent some time in the sensory room, either chilling on the water bed or exploring the different lights and textures within the room.
We then had our lunch together before setting off for more activities in the hangout room and art room where we joined in with a craft session and decorating a homemade bun with lots of icing and sprinkles!
Next we went back outside to explore the park area, zipping along the zip wire, spinning around on the roundabout or just scoring goals on the pitch.
As the afternoon was getting on we ventured into the woods where we sat around the fire pit toasting marshmallows and having a sing song.
Within the woods was the aviary and small petting animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs, we enjoyed being with the birds as they flapped around our heads!
Finally we went back to the main building where we sat down and enjoyed a delicious home cooked meal of spaghetti bolognaise, garlic bread and salad, washed down with juice and huge cookies!
We can’t wait for our next adventure!
