Headteacher's Tea!

On Thursday, I had the pleasure of spending time with the wonderful pupils who had been awarded a Headteacher’s Award during this term.

This is always one of my highlights as we get to chat whilst having a lovely cup of tea and celebrate the successes of the pupils.

Awards were given for various reasons including being kind, gardening for the neighbour, winning a boxing contest and engaging in a discussion around teenagers and the vote.

I am so proud of the young people at Samuel Laycock and what they achieve on a daily basis.
