Shakespeare for Kids

The Year 7 and year 9 classes took part in wonderful Shakespeare workshops this week with two professional actors from Shakespeare 4 Kids!

The pupils got an excellent idea of the plays they are working on and we were super impressed by the fabulous acting and embodiment of the characters. What a great way to begin our units on Shakespeare!

Year 7 pupils acted out the story of Macbeth with battles, witches, kings, a ghost and treachery providing huge drama and entertainment. Year 7 will being working on Macbeth over this half term and are looking forward to sharing our performances with parents and carers!

Year 9 pupils acted out the story of Romeo and Juliet with the tale of two feuding families and a tragic love story with its fair share of duels, secret plots and tragic deaths too.
