Work Experience - 21.11.25

When the weather gets tough, Samuel Laycock students get going. This week’s work experience was forecast to be an experience as the temperatures really dipped the night before.

This did not dampen the new students starting their Work Experience at Debdale Outdoor sports centre. Miss Scott dressed to impress with her very best walking base layer, jumper, Staff Fleece, neck snood, hat, gloves and massive fleece long coat, Lyndon walked out onto the jetty wearing… shorts and T-shirt brr.

Jet washing and leaf clearing for these three heroes but please don’t think Miss Scott is a task master, downtime waiting for the wheel barrow to come back from the compost run was spent smashing ice (safely ) oh so gratifyingly.

A break next week due to the Inclusion Festival but we will return the week after.
