Work Experience Thursdays

Pupils from Sports Pathway had their first shift at Debdale Water Sports Centre.

Arriving at 10am, the pupils first underwent an orientation and briefing where all the important paperwork was filled out by them, then the all-important tour of the building and where to make a brew.

As soon as this was all completed, they were swiftly put to work moving the boats out of the way to clean the leaves and put them in the compost. Next job was to jet wash the area, ensuring a safe area, clear of slippery leaves and mud for the visitors to the centre.

The pupils worked well as a team and supported each other with the tasks.
