World Mental Health Day 2024
Last Thursday we celebrated World Mental Health Day together as a school.
Here at Samuel Laycock, we value all of our staff and pupils and place mental health and wellbeing high on our agenda. It's important to take the time to understand the significance of promoting wellbeing and looking after our mental health.
WMHD 2024
In times of need, it's important to know where we can reach out to:
- Hub of Hope - free to use. You can type this into your search engine or download the app. Type in your post code and it will list all of the available services in your area.
- Kooth - Free to use for children and young people aged from 10 to 25. The Kooth team are there to provide free, safe and anonymous online support and counselling.
- Qwell - Free to use for adults. The Qwell team is there to provide free, safe and anonymous online support and counselling. No fees, no waiting lists, no judgement.
Everyone worked so hard to make WMHD a special day. From the wonderful decorations to the delicious #helloyellow desserts at lunch time to the fun activities, we had a blast focusing on our wellbeing and mental health.
Look out for Anti-Bullying Week coming soon....
